A heavy-duty inverter designed for a steel processor was engineered to safely rotate a 60,000 lb. roll of steel, 90° from a horizontal to a vertical position. The inverter features dual direction, full load rotation capabilities. The inverter’s heavy-duty direct gear and chain drive actuation provide precise, smooth and safe rotation. To ensure that the load is held securely in position at any point of rotation, the inverter also features Pentalift’s “power to release” safety brake system.
