One of America’s largest Retail Companies selected Pentalift Loading Dock Safety Equipment for their new Southeast Distribution Facility. Safety and Performance were the driving factors in the decision to install Pentalift equipment. The combination Hydraulic power unit mounted, under the Dock Leveler, operates the Vehicle Restraint and Dock Leveler from one Hydraulic Power Unit. This design saves space and installation time. In addition a Common Control Panel (shown in inset below) interlocks the Vehicle Restraint with the Dock Leveler, creating a Loading Dock Safety System to force a procedural process that improves safety at the Loading Dock.
