Power Unit – Remote

Rather than the hydraulic power unit being installed underneath the dock leveler, the hydraulic power unit is supplied with a wall mounting bracket for installation on an adjacent interior wall. This option is selected for instances in which the power unit would be better located other than under the dock leveler. Examples would be applications in which washout with water spray is directed under the dock leveler. Applications where explosion gases could be present under the dock leveler. Applications in which the environment under the dock leveler is not favorable to hydraulic power units for reasons such as extreme wet, cold, dirt and debris.
